Glenda Kelley

Glenda S. Kelley, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Collierville, Tenn. She was born in Calhoun, and lived a life centered on love, family and generous hospitality.
Glenda loved to travel, especially enjoying trips to the beach, but her greatest joy was being at home—tending to her garden and spending time with her family. She always cherished her memories of growing up in Sugar Valley and her many childhood friends and classmates from Calhoun High School Class of 1966. Holidays were especially meaningful to her and were marked by days of preparation, planning, and cooking. Anyone fortunate enough to visit Glenda for a holiday or family gathering was greeted with a warm smile and a kitchen filled with home cooked meals, desserts, and snacks lovingly prepared just for them. Her grandchildren fondly remember “Grammy’s secret recipe for the best mashed potatoes,” a memory that reflects both her talent in the kitchen and her devotion to those she loved.
Family and friends were the heart of Glenda’s life, and she made everyone feel welcome, cared for, and valued. The love she shared was fully returned by those who knew her, and her kindness and generosity will be long remembered.
She is survived by her son, James Michael Kelley (Angie); her daughter, Cindy Brown; and her beloved grandchildren, Chase and Nick. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Taylor Smith; nieces and nephews; as well as a number of cherished great nieces and great nephews.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Kelley, Jr.; her parents, Claude and Zora Bell Taylor; her twin sister, Brenda Taylor Shirley; her sister, Carolyn Joan Palmer; and her brother, Ron D. Taylor.
Glenda S. Kelley’s life was defined by love, service, and devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 17 until service begins at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and interment immediately following at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery.
The family requests donations be made to the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House @ 1520 W Poplar Ave., Collierville, Tennessee, 38017.

Debra Lilley

Debra Ann Lilley, known as Debi by friends and family, was an outgoing, humorous, happy woman with an infectious laugh. Debi enjoyed concerts with friends, spending quality time with her family, and spending days on the beach. She believed time was the greatest gift, and she used every opportunity to make those around her smile. If Debi could pick an ideal afternoon, it would be to cuddle with her late cat Shady, whom she loved more than anything, eat Mexican food for dinner (with a margarita, of course), and end it with chocolate peanut butter ice cream. She was infinitely full of joy, and if you knew her, you knew how much of a blessing it was just to live in her presence.
On April 12, 2026, Debi passed away at age 63 peacefully with her brother, Don Lilley, and sister-in-law, Kim Lilley, by her side. Debi was born in Detroit, Mich., on Nov. 30, 1962. She was a resident of Walled Lake, Mich.; she left it a little more beautiful than it was before her. Debi is preceded in death by her late mother, Barbara Lilley and is survived by her father, Gerald Lilley, brother, Don Lilley (Kim), nieces, Samantha (Evan) and Brooke (Colton), great-niece and great- nephew, Adaline and Gabriel, as well as her aunt Vicki.
Debi passed with no biological children, but she looked to her nieces, Samantha and Brooke, as her own, and Adaline and Gabriel looked up to her as a bonus grandmother more so than a great-aunt, as Debi was a consistent and important part of their lives, making sure she was always in attendance for holidays, birthdays, and sporting events. Her absence will create a void that can never be filled. After all, grief is just love with nowhere to go.
It was Debi’s last wish not to have a funeral or service, but asks that you contribute or donate to a cat rescue of your choice if you wish.
Debi discussed wanting to be remembered for all the amazing times and moments she has left behind, making sure her imprint lasts forever in memories. We will miss Debi beyond measure.
