Elizabeth Ann Ingram

OBIT Ingram.jpg

Elizabeth Ann Ingram was born on Jan. 5, 1947, in Englewood, Tenn., the daughter of the late John F. Duff and Elizabeth “Alberta” Samples Duff. She walked through the gates of heaven into the hands of God peacefully on Dec. 11, 2025, at AdventHealth Redmond after two years of declining health.
Ann attended Riverview Baptist Church. She was a cherished member of her family and community, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Danny Ingram.

Before her retirement, Ann had a notable career in retail management with K-Mart and Fred’s, where she dedicated her efforts to providing exceptional service and leadership. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends, who will remember her warmth and kindness.

Ann is survived by her devoted daughters, Karen (Craig) McEntyre and Lisa (Jamie) Gentry-Coleman. She was a proud and loving nana to Kelly (Jorge) McEntyre Arteaga, Cathy (Tray) McGee, and  Nicholas (Caitlyn) Gentry. Her great-grandchildren further enriched the joy of her life: Levi McGee, Peyton McGee, River Gentry, and Liam Arteaga, who brought her immense happiness and love.

Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her brother-in-law, Davey Ingram, and her nephews, Chris Ingram and David Ingram. Ann also fostered many close friendships that deepened her life, leaving behind several special friends who will carry her memory with them.

As we remember Ann we celebrate her remarkable life, her unwavering strength in the face of struggles, and the profound impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the team at AdventHealth Gordon oncology department led by the amazing Dr. Mayur Mody, under the direction of Ed Moyer, for the loving care they provided Ann. A special thanks to some of her favorite care givers, Elizabeth, Lisa, Stephanie, Julie, and Dr. Mody. She spoke often about how much she loved all of you.

The family will celebrate Ann’s life with a private family gathering.

The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Elizabeth “Ann” Ingram.

David Locke

OBIT Locke.jpg

David Glenn Locke, 58, of Calhoun, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on Nov. 7, 1967, to the late David Warren Locke and Glenda Sue Coffey Locke.

David began golfing at Spring Lake as a teenager and eventually had the role of superintendent dropped in his lap. Jerry Goble can be thanked for believing in his work ethic and leaving the “notebook.” He eventually landed at the Elks Club, where he was for over 20 years, and once again took the helm of superintendent. The course went from a dust bowl, as most would call it, to a beautiful course that he took pride in. His ultimate dream was to be at Fields Ferry and his dream finally came true. While he hated golf, he was the GOAT at making the course the best it could be. He took those greens as 18 of his kids and took it very personal how they were treated. The Georgia Superintendents Group never named him the Super of the Year but so many in the state knew that he did his job well and would call often for advice on what they needed to do to their course.

David was also an avid bowler. While trying to be the best at everything, he ended up with 10 perfect 300 games and 1 800 series.

His love for tennis rekindled in the spring of 2022. Celina and Pam signed up for 101 and then his daughters Mollie and Maci took up the sport. He was always supporting each of us and becoming our coach. He thrived to make us all better. He had an injury it stopped his tennis game for a little while but he kept on coaching us. He became the “string man” for everyone. He is now a 3-time state champion in tennis.

David is survived by his loving wife, Celina Bennett Locke; daughter and son-in-law, Mollie and Parker Lively; his grandson and the light of his life, Bennett Warren Lively; sister, Dana Locke; special friend, Pam Mills and her daughters, that he loved as his own, Monica and Maci; and Cohen Mills, who he treated as his own grandson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Patsy Fletcher. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other in-laws also survive.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Sonoraville Baptist Church.

A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. from Sonoraville Baptist Church on Monday. Honorary pallbearers are Marc Reece, Richie Wright, David Hicks, Phillip Henson, Brian Chastain, Scott King, Brian Hammontree, Flipper McDaniel, Cory Hollis, Jeff Hannah, Kevin Sitton, Patrick O’Daniel, Greg Cross, Curtis Howard, Joel Suggs, Todd Thomas, Eric Stewart, Danny Erwin, Brodie Matthews, Rice Holsomback, Kaiden Stanley, Barry Brock, Russ Edwards, Jeff Morrow, Connor Osborne, Mark Dunn, and Bruce Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to a trust set up for his grandson and pride and joy, Bennett, at Builtwell Bank.
